Stockholm with Elsa Billgren

Dear Customers,

This is a guide that we're very happy to share with you. We are going to visit our neighbour Sweden, with our favourite swedish influencer Elsa Billgren, who is a very dear customer of ours. Elsa is a stylish blogger and vintage lover, who is known among many in Sweden for her blog at Elle.se. Elsa is 38 year old and lives with her husband and son in Stockholm.

What does a day look like for you?: I get up and eat breakfast with my family and then I leave my son at school before I take a walk to Konstakademin where I have my studio and where I work. My mother also have here studio, she’s an artist and painter, and often we eat lunch together. On my way home, I pass my favourite secondhand store in Gamla Stan and end the evening with my family at home.

What’s your wardrobe staples for an everyday outfit?

In autumn, I love wool and wear a lot of merino long sleeves, a wool skirt and a heavy knit. I like loafers and love a preppy look for fall.

Best spot for breakfast? And what are you ordering from the menu? Stora Bageriet is a great spot for breakfast, located in the centre of the city. On Södermalm, where I live, Pascal on Skånegatan is a favourite.

What’s your go-to if you want to clear your head from thoughts? I love hot yoga and practice four times a week in a studio nearby. It’s my best way to end a busy day with work. Also I make a large cup of Marco Polo tea from Mariage and light up all the candles in my home.

You’re heading out for dinner with your friends directly after work, what would you add to your workwear outfit to spice it up?

I would add a headband and some lipstick. Maybe switch my heavy stockings to a sheer pair and as an elegant slingback to my wool coat.

Can you tell us your 2-3 favourite dining spots?

I have a soft spot for relaxed Italian places where you feel at home, like Cafe Nizza. For a date I would go to Operabaren Bakfickan and with friends right after work I love Schmaltz where you can sit and watch stylish people on Nybrogatan.

What book are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading Nigel Slater A Thousand Feasts. It’s the perfect cozy autumn book!

Before we round up, 4 places you can't finish this interview without recommending?
